Positioned the weekend after New York Comic Con (NYCC) and the weekend before Halloween, it just seemed natural to have a fun theme for our wedding.
As we came together as nerds and have worked countless comic conventions (“cons”) together, we figured this would be a theme as unique as the two of us - hence, Chrzlizzi Con was born!

We respectfully request no children under the age of 7 attend the reception.

As much as we’d love to bring in exhibitors and fan groups for photos/meet and greets, there isn’t enough space at the venue.
The tables will be themed and we’ll have a step-and-repeat for photos.
Once you RSVP, you’ll get your fun con kit!
But feel free to bring any lightsabers or Geek Chic accessories for photos!

Nope! Leave that for NYCC. :)

We want our guests to come in outfits where they can enjoy the night - and some dancing!

You may dress in formal wedding attire or, in the spirit of our theme, we encourage our guests to come in “Geek Chic”.

If you’ve been to cons before, we promise the following:

• No long lines for the bathroom (at least not the usual length at a con).

• There will be seating for all, don’t worry!

• The room will not be cramped to full fire safety. Safety first, friends!

• There will be more than enough incredibly delicious food - and much of it will not be fried!

And for those of you wondering if Rubin and/or Amy be conducting lightsaber training? #NeverSayNever

Planes: There are quite a few airports to fly into, but we recommend Newark Airport or Atlantic City Airport (both about 1 hour from the venue).

Trains (from Penn Station): You can take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line to the Point Pleasant Beach Station (about an 8 min drive from the venue but you will need to take 2 trains) or- you can take the North Jersey Coast Line train to Aberdeen-Matawan and take a 30 min Lyft/Uber to the venue.

Automobiles: The address for the venue is: 3900 River Rd, Point Pleasant, NJ 08742. It’s easy to get here via the Garden State Parkway or Route 34.

If you are attending a wedding at The Crystal Point Yacht Club and you would like to reserve a room for the evening of the wedding, please call the office at 732-899-3444 to make your reservation. If you attempt to make the reservation online, it will tell you that there are no rooms available because the rooms are blocked off for the bride and groom’s guests.

You’ve heard of Brangalina, Bennifer, Kimye, and Swelce…..

When trying to combine our names, nothing really sang to us. We thought of Ramy and Poliski but nothing stuck.

And then we found Chrzlizzi - with all its Zs and consonants - and our couple name was complete.

First of all, welcome! NJ may be the garden state, the “birthplace” of Jersey Shore and the real housewives of NJ, and the land of diners - but it’s our home.
